"The Nomination" is a short video I filmed during one of the Student Film Union meetings. In this video you can see the process it took for the members to vote a new executive board in and also some of the people's reactions. Through the power of editing a long voting process became short. I used close ups of peoples reactions, a wide shot to show everyone, and a over the shoulder shot. This short video is not scripted but reality. This film was shot handheld, for this reason there is a little shakiness. Ultimately, I wanted through this piece I wanted to document our first election process through "nominations".
